The Company will serve businesses operating in construction, agriculture, mining, forestry, transportation, and other industrial sectors by bringing traditionally fragmented procurement and support services together through one digital platform. Users will be able to buy, sell, and rent equipment, source building materials and skilled labour, arrange transportation and inspections, and access financing, insurance, servicing, and maintenance providers through the EQUIPCONNECT EQUIPMENT MARKETPLACE INC. ecosystem.
The Company will be headquartered in Hamilton, Ontario, providing a strategic base from which to develop its initial customer and supplier network. Hamilton's location within the Greater Toronto and Hamilton Area (GTHA), together with its connections to major transportation corridors including Highway 403, the Queen Elizabeth Way (QEW), and Highway 401, provides access to a large concentration of construction, manufacturing, industrial, transportation, and logistics businesses. The location will allow EQUIPCONNECT EQUIPMENT MARKETPLACE INC. to initially focus its sales and marketing activities on businesses within Hamilton and surrounding cities while progressively expanding its digital reach into other major Canadian commercial centres.

EQUIPCONNECT EQUIPMENT MARKETPLACE INC. will operate as a technology marketplace rather than as a traditional equipment dealer or rental company. The Company will not purchase, own, warehouse, or maintain the equipment, construction materials, or labour resources listed on the platform. Instead, equipment owners, dealerships, rental companies, material suppliers, contractors, skilled workers, inspectors, transportation companies, financial institutions, insurance providers, and maintenance companies will participate as third-party suppliers or service providers. EQUIPCONNECT EQUIPMENT MARKETPLACE INC. will provide the technology, marketplace infrastructure, transaction facilitation, customer connections, and administrative systems that allow these parties to conduct business more efficiently.
